* Maintain relationships and communication with overseas sourcing offices/agents, cross-functional teams, co-workers and management
* Negotiate with offices and vendors seasonally ensuring competitive pricing and meet financial expectations
* Support management team to achieve profit objective
* Strategically allocate volume within production capacity plans on a seasonal and annual base
* Collaborate with Design/ Merchandising/Sales to understand and adequately support cross functional teams
* Participate in Line Reviews and recommend plausible/practical solutions to achieve MU goals
* Anticipating potential issues that could affect product, quality, and deliveries
* Manage and facilitate timely approvals to support on time deliveries
* Own the Production Time and Action Calendar
* Identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies in the Product Development process
* Close interaction with the Vice President of Sourcing on issues that could impact style changes, quality, and/or delivery
* Share top down information to help staff make informed decisions concerning production
* Lead the team in adjusting to changing priorities
Required Experience:

* Bachelor’s Degree
* Minimum of 8-10 years of product development/Production/Sourcing experience and at least 5 years management experience
* Expert knowledge of costing and negotiation, forecasting, manufacturing, materials, and construction techniques
* Must be able to manage multiple projects, across several categories, within the set timeline and meeting the standards set by management
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude; desire to establish collaborative relationships to achieve team objectives
* Business skills, organizational skills, and product awareness
* Domestic and international travel required
