Organizational Objective/Purpose:

The Institutional Investment Solutions Team is part of the Institutional enterprise. The goal of the team is to promote the sale of investment products that Schwab either manufactures or manages to Investment Advisor (RIA), that custody their assets at Schwab and through intermediary platforms and investment professionals outside of Schwab. In addition the team will be responsible for ongoing management and support of those relationships and be the liaison of marketplace information into Schwab organization. The suite of investment products includes:

* ETF’s
* Index Funds-Fundamental and Cap-Weighted
* Actively Managed Mutual Funds
* Collective Trusts
* Separately Managed Accounts
Brief Description of Role:

The Investment Solutions Regional Support Specialist will support sales initiatives such as prospecting, relationship-building efforts and servicing clients. This is an opportunity to promote the sale of the firm’s proprietary investment products to advisors through Schwab and third-party distribution channels while gaining an understanding of client needs and assisting with development of relevant sales ideas. Some of the tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

* Develop sales and servicing strategy with direction from the Regional Director
* Make proactive servicing and sales calls to existing and prospective clients; receiving inbound calls from existing and prospective clients
* Update and maintain the Sales Force database
* Assist with appointments as needed
* Send mailings and place literature orders
* Coordinate small regional events
* · Maintain a pipeline reports
Technical/Functional Qualifications:

* 2 or more year’s internal sales desk experience within the financial services industry
* Excellent communication skills
* Candidate should be a self-starter and possess strong analytical skills
* Knowledge of the capital markets, the mutual fund industry, broker/dealer, retirement plan and investment advisor community helpful
* Detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to communicate product portfolio features and benefits and be able to speak knowledgeably about philosophy, process, portfolio holdings, and the rationale behind portfolio construction.
* Familiarity and commitment to use of Salesforce
* Ability to work with key internal partners including product management and client portfolio strategists.
* NASD Licenses Series 7, 63 Required
* Clean U4 and compliance record
