**What you’ll do:**

The Advisor Services Trade Away Services Director is responsible for a broad mandate including strategic development and implementation, employee development and development and implementation of risk and control procedures while pursuing our mission and values through:

* Ensuring all service levels are achieved on a daily basis
* Providing global and tactical direction to service and project initiatives, sharing vision and scope
* Establishing functional business strategy to enhance effectiveness of core servicing functions, ensuring consistency across sites
* Foreseeing changes in the business environment and developing plans to proactively address them
* Conducting extensive interaction with employees at all levels to identify issues and opportunities
* Includes minimal travel

**What you have:**

*The ideal candidate will have (required qualifications):*

* Series 7, 63, 9 & 10 licenses
* 10-15 years’ experience in Trade Settlement with a thorough knowledge of brokerage/financial services industry
* At least five years management experience with demonstrated ability to develop leadership and management skills in coaching and developing people at all performance levels via established performance objectives, regular feedback, and appropriate recognition
* Proven ability to work with other business leaders to translate strategic plans and goals for the area in tactical plans and objectives for setting priorities
* Ability to make final decisions on administrative or operational matters to ensure objectives are achieved.
* Experience providing input to strategy setting and policy development
* Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence, build consensus and integrate complex information
* Proven presentation skills and experience working collaboratively, improving productivity, and implementing ideas
* Strong project management skills with ability to lead projects with little direction
* Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and quickly be seen as a business leader who is accountable for business results
* Excellent judgment and an agent for change

*The ideal candidate may have (preferred qualifications):*

* Bachelors degree preferred
* Series 24 license
