The Role: This position will be responsible for providing thought leadership and analytic skills to develop, monitor and manage business card risk strategies. Ability to identify risks and problems and articulate well defined proposed solutions.
  • Design, development, and validation of automated credit policy, risk and/or marketing systems in an effort to balance risk and growth of Business Card portfolios.
  • Maximization of risk/reward by applying analytical techniques with consideration for portfolio profitability.
  • Conduct deep dives assessing portfolio opportunities leveraging sound analytical techniques
  • Produce fully developed prospective loss and financial expectations balancing the impact of product, channel, industry and economic factors.
  • Identify and quantify the relationships between applicant characteristics using external credit bureau and internal relationship data to comprehend profit drivers such as credit risk, engagement, utilization and revolve to develop optimized account acquisition strategies
  • Guide credit policy to ensure portfolio target
  • Support data-driven analysis driving fact based decision making
  • Direct the SBU by recommending / executing policy actions that improve the portfolio.
  • Provide a prospective view, employing predictive modeling, of portfolio performance including loss, liquidation and sales curves.
  • Assess existing Policies for their efficacy and implement new strategies to drive to portfolio targets.
  • Manage projects in a cross-function org working collaboratively across Risk COE's, Marketing, Finance and Risk Execution to drive results
  • Develop and support infrastructure to blend Commercial and Consumer scores and attributes as well as produce fully Commercial driven decisions
