Department Description The GEM Local markets (LM) PL team,within IB finance and Business Management, supports the LM trading team. LM trading team market make for emerging market IRS, Spot, FX Option, Forward FX and X-ccy. The business also provide structured deals for clients, for example funded and unfunded TRS, leveraged CLNs, and medium to long term financing. The PL team is responsible for daily PL and month end PL production. The team is expected to provide advisory support to the business. You will be a main contact for queries about tbe business from stakeholders such as audit, financial control, FVP, risk, trade support and business manager. The team is responsible for the PL control environment. Role Description You will be responsible for producing accurate and timely daily PL for one or more desks within the EMEA Local Markets business. You will partner with the business, operations and financial control among others to ensure that the overall financial control environment from end to end is sound. Key responsibilities

• Production ofdaily PL. Substantiation through comparison to trader predicts,current risk and market moves. Obtaining trader sign off.
• Providing explanations of PL to other stakeholders:Business managers, FVP,MIS,and Risk etc.
• Month End - Reconciliation of reported PL to general ledger. Requesting GL adjustments for any variances. Review of reserve moves and other month end adjustments.
• Monitoring potential risks across the whole trade cycle, eg FOBO breaks, nostros, trade booking errors.
• Continuous improvement of the control environment.
• Support any new initiatives,for example new reporting systems or new products.
