In this role, you will be responsible for developing rich web user interfaces that integrate with back-end components and result in web solutions that people want to use. You will be part of a team that works on various web-based applications and ultimately contribute to a high-quality user experience and specialize in building responsive and elegant web UIs with AJAX and similar technologies. Responsibilities:
  • Build next-generation web applications with a focus on the client side.
  • Partner and consult with internal clients' needs for site design and development followed by the creation of entire sites from conceptualization to site launch. Including gathering and developing business requirements, consulting to ensure user-friendly architecture, prototyping, web authoring, and effective time management.
  • Develop prototypes and mock-ups to help develop, demonstrate, and validate business requirements to ensure all stakeholders understand what will be built and to help identify potential issues early in the project.
  • Conduct web site usability evaluations. Ability to apply heuristic evaluation methods, measure against competitor benchmarking and apply corporate and web style guide standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance and UAT testing and monitoring automated tools to improve and maintain quality standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor web designers on technical issues and best practices.
  • Monitor competitive landscape to find best practices and strategies to provide new design recommendations.
  • Lead research activities to implement new technologies and provide ideas for technical or business improvements.
