The Courier-Posts Custom Publishing Department is seeking enthusiastic students with an interest in gaining journalism/new media skills in a working newsroom. The student will have a well-rounded, hands-on experience contributing to a daily newspaper, website and special sections. Editors will assign interns stories and other writing tasks, and will offer feedback on their work.

The intern will gain real-world job skills such as reporting, web research, and writing and updating capsules for online dining and entertainment guides. Most of the work is done in-house, but when possible, interns will have the opportunity to accompany reporters and photographers to assignments.
