Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Finance Analyst located in Makati City, Philippines through May 31, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Position Details: Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

* Monitors and analyzes accounts and transactions handled for Chevron companies

* Performs month-end and year-end closing activities

* Ensures that all transactions are recorded accurately, analyzed in a timely manner and in accordance to company guidelines and policies

* Prepares current work plan, participates in self-study courses, and attends to functional trainings to ensure that individual goals are met

* Participates in process improvement efforts and works with customers to achieve overall improvements in both local and end-to-end processes

* Ensures resolution of both internal and external customer requests, queries and complaints in order to provide a high level of customer service, necessary to support the achievement of defined team and corporate goals

* Establishes and maintains harmonious relationship with customers and other teams within the organization

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

* Good oral and written communication skills

* Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills

* Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment

* Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in SAP is an advantage, but not required

* Three years work experience preferably in an audit firm
