Qualifications Experience:  3-5 years current pediatric nursing experience required.  Pediatric General Inpatient,  PICU, and Emergency Room preferred. Previous telephone triage experience helpful but not required. Experience with electronic medical records a plus.
Required Education/Field of Study: Bachelor or higher in Nursing. New Graduate Nurse Residency graduation certificate must be presented for internal promotion from Children¿s Colorado CNI to CNII.
Required License/Certification - Advanced Life Support AND/OR other Certification(s) for specific roles may be required within 6 months of hire.
Required License/Certification - BLS for Healthcare Providers / CPR

Weight Lifted/Force Exerted: Up to 50 pounds: Up to 1/3 of time Job Overview Exciting, fast paced nursing role providing support to Community Physicians through After Hour Telephone Triage care for children from birth to 21 years.  Strong keyboard skills required, must be competent with Windows based programs.  Outstanding assessment, and teaching skills required.  This is an independent role that requires excellent nursing judgment and critical thinking skills.  Potential to work a percentage of shifts from home after successful completion of orientation and one year in the department. Hours available vary and are between 5 PM - 01 AM Monday -Friday and 8 hour day/evening rotating shifts on the weekends.  Must be available for holidays and occasional night shifts.  Must have access to high speed internet in your home.
