Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits, full time position
Shift: M-F 8:00 am-5:00 PM Job Overview Experienced clinical nurse for Ambulatory Clinic: CHIP (HIV Clinic). Position requires excellent interpersonal skills working with a culturally diverse poplulation of patients varied gender, race, ethnicity, gender orientation, and lifestyle, as well as a large multispecialty clinical team. Excellent organizational skills are needed as well as good clinical judgement and ability to prioritize work. Prior experience with clinical research, GLBTQ population, and phlebotomy skills, particularly in infants and young children, are desired. Qualifications General Work Experience: minimum of one year of nursing experience. Basic computer skills required. Excellent customer service and communication skills with hospital/clinic staff, patients, parents and visitors. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize tasks in a fast paced setting. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Required Education/Field of Study: Bachelor or higher in Nursing. New Graduate Nurse Residency graduation certificate must be presented for internal promotion from Childrens Colorado CNI to CNII.
Required License/Certification - Advanced Life Support AND/OR other Certification(s) for specific roles may be required within 6 months of hire.
Required License/Certification - BLS for Healthcare Providers / CPR
