DescriptionChinese Theatre Works (www.chinesetheatreworks.org) is seeking tech-savvy self-starters to intern. Each intern will have his/her time split between research, organizational outreach, business development, programmatic support, and administrative tasks. The specific allocation of responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of CTW at any given time and an interns interests, skill set, experience and education. It is a great opportunity for students to gain cross-cultural experience and work behind the scene at the unique theater company.
CTW is a non-profit theatre company whose mission is to preserve and promote traditional Chinese performing arts (including opera, shadow theatre, puppetry, dance and music); to create new works that bridge Eastern and Western aesthetics and forms; and to foster understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture in audience, students, artist and educators around the globe.
