Job Overview
The Enterprise Change Management Analyst is integral to Technology Operations service delivery and system availability to customers.  The position is responsible for the continuous execution and enforcement to the enterprise change management policy and process for all information technology and related systems ensuring that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient handling of all changes in order to minimize the impact of change related incidents.  
The role will work with other members of the Change Management team as well as other Infrastructure resources and external service providers to enforce, improve and enhance change management processes to meet evolving technology and high availability business requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient handling of all production changes in order to minimize the impact of change related incidents upon service quality

  • Chair of CIBC TAB - lead the discussion of technology changes with a focus on the release readiness, deployment plans, execution, resources, cross impacts and overall post support.

  • Responsible for audit/compliance requirements related to enterprise change management process.

  • Provide assistance in the planning and deployment strategy for software/hardware which includes installation/blackout procedures, verification, business participation, Work in close partnership with Change Coordinators, Team Leads, internal/external support partners

  • Provide process and related technology training to Technology and Operations users and their customers to ensure awareness, adaptation and consistency of process.

  • Responsible for reviewing and approving minor/routine change requests in compliance to enterprise change process.

  • Raise operating risks identified through the CM process.

  • Responsible to ensure meetings are scheduled and facilitated effectively.

  • Responsible for coordinating 3rd Party/Vendor releases through the change process where applicable.

  • Responsible to ensure change reports are generated, distributed and accurately reflect the outcome of the TAB and CAB meetings.

  • Review, assess and provide change ticket approval for low/low tickets.

  • Assist in the monitoring, managing and approval of emergency change tickets ensuring ticket compliance is adhered to.

  • Responsible to ensure PIR quality information has been recorded for all non-successful production change tickets.

What We’re Looking For  
  • Must have a minimum 5-7 years IT experience with a focus on managing IT changes in complex environment preferred
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is a strong assist
  • Post-secondary diploma/certificate in business and/or information systems (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of technical concepts.
  • Ability to conceptualize
  • Sound understanding of the functional complexity, business objectives and overall operation of the Bank's operations environment
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple activities of varying complexity in a complex operations environment while under time constraints.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and with tight timeline.
