As a Financial Service Representative in our Halifax Customer Contact Centre, you will be a trusted front-line expert who is empowered to provide information and solutions to existing and potential customers via the telephone regarding CIBC’s full range of products and services. Job Requirements – Provide information to existing and potential clients via telephone regarding CIBC's full range of products and services – Meet sales, customer service, and productivity targets by understanding client needs, offering first call resolution of issues, and actively promoting and selling products and services that meet your clients’ needs – Offer a superior client experience on every call to meet and exceed your clients’ expectations, build loyalty and grow our business What We’re Looking For – Successfulcandidates must exhibit CIBC’s values of trust, team work, andaccountability – Must haveprevious sales, service, or customer service professionalexperience, preferably in the financial industry – Must have astrong aptitude for sales with a minimum 1 year needs-based salesexperience in a targeted sales environment – Must havesuperior verbal communication and interpersonal skillsEnglish with a professional telephone manner – Must havedemonstrated adaptability, flexibility and ability to multi-task inan ever-changing environment – Must havecomputer literacy, strong keyboarding and internet navigationskills in a Windows-based environment – Must have acommitment to punctuality and adherence to work schedules – Should havecontact centre experience – Should haveexperience working with a financial institution or in the bankingindustry What You Should Know – Flexibility toaccommodate rotational shifts including days, evenings and weekendsbetween the hours of 7am -12:00am is required – The targetedstart date for this position is October 15th,2012 – Training is on afull-time basis and consists of a combination of in-class andon-the-job training for a period of 6 months. Shifts may vary during training and willrequire flexibility for any shift within the hours of operationnoted above – Startingcompensation for this FullTime position is: $34,000.00 plus sales incentives.
