Show Operations:

By joining the Rigging team, you may be required to:
* Manage all aspects of rigging related to the show while maintaining the integrity of the artistic concept;
* Operate and control winches for aerial acts;
* Ensure the safety and security of rigging equipment at all times;
* Participate in set-up and teardown of the equipment (applicable to touring shows or on-call positions only);
* Inspect and maintain all rigging equipment and keep records of inspections and modifications;
* Supervise personnel, according to the position.

Production and Show Support:

By joining the Rigging team, you will plan and monitor schedules under your responsibility, conduct feasibility analyses and ensure the technical design of the equipment to be manufactured or acquired is based on the standards and criteria required by the designers and on other production requirements.

You may also be required to:
* Write clear and concise requests for quotes that include specifications the supplier is required to adhere to;
* Ensure specifications, costs and delivery deadlines are respected by suppliers through regular communication and supervision of targeted milestones;
* Take part in the installation, final testing and the approval of the equipment in conjunction with the operations staff, while providing them with clear acceptance criteria;
* Be innovative and adaptable in sourcing materials, suppliers and manufacturers in compliance with budgetary obligations and time frames.
Essential Attributes

You will need the following attributes for your profile to be considered:

Show Operations:
* Diploma in Post-Secondary Studies in Theatre Production, or equivalent training in live entertainment;
* Minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience as a rigger, according to the position;
* Experience with aerial/human rigging is a strong asset;
* Touring experience is an asset, according to the position;
* Personnel management experience, according to the position;
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written (French is an asset);
* Ability to work high above the ground (climbing abilities essential);
* Available to travel and work in foreign countries, according to the position.
Production and Show Support:
* Diploma in Post-Secondary Studies in Scene Technologies or equivalent training;
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in rigging, including 5 years as a Project Supervisor or Technical Director;
* Theater experience with large-scale productions;
* Experience with creation process for new productions, according to the position;
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD software;
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel Outlook, MS Project, etc.);
* Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written;
* Excellent organizational, priority and budget management skills;
Available to travel and work in foreign countries, according to the position.

These positions may be classified under the Hotel/Casino structure for payroll and health & welfare benefits. Should you be considered for employment, you will be required to participate in all of the Hotel/Casino selection processes including a background security check and drug/alcohol testing.
