Project Description: Associates will be expected to work any shift in a 24/7 operations center but the current targeted shifts are evening and midnight shifts.please submit candidates accordingly *

Managed Security Services Monitor Job Description:
Security Monitor A Security Monitor oversees the daily responsibility of managing the Remedy based ticketing system and incoming phone support.
Tickets and phone support will be evaluated by ticket/call severity for further notification and processing to Tier 2 and Tier 3 staff.
For Severity 1 and 2 (outage) type of tickets/events, a Security Monitor will have the responsibility of engagements with LEC per customer for Circuit testing and possible Vendor engagements for hardware/software dispatches.

Job Description: ****CANDIDATES MUST BE A US CITIZEN NO EXCEPTIONS SUPPLIER****

Clearance will be required for multiple customers including Public Trust Clearance.

>The candidate will be positioned in a Security Operations Center performing entry level troubleshooting skills to devices such as:
Cisco PIX firewalls
Routers
Switches
Checkpoint firewalls run on Solaris and Nokia IPSO platforms
WebSense URL servers
Client Brick firewall
Blue Coat and NetCache Proxy servers
Cisco Intrusion Detection
Enterasys Dragon Sensors
McAfee Anti-Virus
Trend Micro Anti-Virus
Baytech modems
US Robotics modems.
This position comes with an opportunity to develop and grow your networking skill-sets for possible advancement into higher Tier 2 and Tier 3 support levels in the Telecommunication Network Security organization.

Candidates must complete the Tier 1.5 Prescreening Questionnaire prior to submittal. They must answer at least 11 out of 16 questions correctly or they may not be submitted. SUPPLIER MUST PROVIDE RESULTS IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FIELD ON ETEMP SUBMITTAL.

REQUIRED CRITICAL SKILLS:
Cisco Networking skills are required at Entry to Intermediate level (2-4 yrs experience).
Candidate needs to possess good Customer Service skills for internal and external customers with the ability to follow mandated Standard Operating Procedures, process flows, and Network Documentation.
All candidates must have fluency and command of the English language both written and verbal.
Candidate must be able to work well with others, multitask efficiently, and be willing to be self sufficient in skills development growth.

Desired BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Basic Unix skills
Network Security and firewall
CCNA or equivalent skill level

TOUR:
24 x 7 support environment The assignment is will cover an off hours shift, evening or night shift.
BACKGROUND CHECK: A background (including county)and credit check will be required on all engaged candidates (Public Trust Clearance).
