As Business RiskSpecialist working for the Online, Mobile ATM channels, you'll help support our current award winning mobile application and online platform, as well as the next generation of services for millions of consumers. This role will support a risk management focused culture that seeks to protect the customer and the bank.

This critical role will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Business Risk and Application Security for Online, Mobile ATM Operations. It will be responsible for working within the framework by which the business will understand the current state for risk in these channels, identify gaps including against policy and regulation, and ultimately, manage the remediation or acceptance of those risks. Their work will not only be key in identifying and remediating risks but will also support managing such disciplines as Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Information Security, and sound Application Management. This role will work cross-functionally with key internal partners and vendors. They will support the channel's multi-year strategic roadmap from a risk perspective by participating in projects, making recommendations and educating the wider team on industry trends and solutions.

  • Effectively manage all risk issues owned by the OLB/ATM channels. (i.e. Self-identified, GIA, regulatory, etc) ensuring proper risk articulation and timely remediation
  • Proactively identify gaps that introduce risk to the customer and/or the bank
  • Effectively manage the day-to-day oeprations of such disciplines as BCP, DR, Information Security and Application Management
  • Assisting the Sr. manager in the development of the framework for Business Risk Management as well as working within that framework to identify and remediate risk issues
  • Ensuring proactive, cross-functional collaboration with regards to understanding and managing the risk agenda for OLB/ATM channels
  • Serve as the risk perspective on business initiatives and the development of the business roadmap
  • Support the development of best practices and continuous improvement with regards to managing the day-to-day operations of risk associated responsibilities such as Issue Management, BCP, DR, Information Security and Application Management


  • BS/BA in business, technology or equivalent experience, Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of Experience in one or more of the following: Customer Experience, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, Operations, Mobile and/or emerging Technology.
  • Experience in a financial institution or service oriented company is preferred
  • Experience driving results through influencing others
  • Proven ability to build fruitful relationships, influence and drive change cross-functionally
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives, navigate obstacles and deliver on time
  • Solid comfort level with Mobile, Web, device and payment technologies and ecosystems
  • Solid comfort level with understanding and drawing conclusions from data and statistics
  • Significant command of the following: data analysis, risk management, change management disciplines
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem solving
  • Demonstrated capability to think strategically
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with executive level staff in person and in writing
  • Passion for providing outstanding digital customer experiences and customer service
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment where competing initiatives are emerging on a daily basis
  • Desire to increase industry and competitor knowledge
