Solicits, develops, and services a portfolio of commercial clients with annual company revenue of $5-25 million via acquisition of new relationships and effectively identifying cross-selling opportunities for existing clients. Products marketed include, but are not necessarily limited to: credit, interest and currency risk management products, cash management, international trade, and liquidity solutions. Effectively utilizes centralized credit support utility for both new originations and portfolio management. Appropriately identifies customer and transaction credit risks, and consistently applies credit policies and processes.
Senior relationship manager responsible for soliciting, developing and servicing a wide variety of commercial loans and lines of credit, both secured and unsecured, for key bank clients. Incumbents usually handle complex accounts and sensitive client relationships, and are trusted to handle difficult negotiations and credit assessments on an independent basis. Interviews loan applicants. May direct credit department's or junior officer's analysis on applicants financial data to evaluate credit worthiness. Makes decisions on loans at the highest lending limits or makes recommendations
This is an individual contributor role. Typically responsible for portfolios with 60-200 relationships, loan commitments of $20-50 million, deposit balances of $20-50MM, and originates loan transactions ranging from $500 thousand to $10 million. May be responsible for a larger number of relationships, but relatively less complex than average client.
Must have 8-10 years current commercial lending experience with the ability to manage and grow significant customer portfolio.
4-year business degree with successful completion of credit training program.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong customer relationships.
Proven sales abilities with good computer skills for recording and tracking results
