The purpose of this position is to assist in coordinating and implementing recreational and social programs and activities for youth, adults and seniors with varying interests and abilities at assigned Park Center or recreational facility; and to perform related work as required.
Qualifications
Graduation from high school, vocational school, or GED with one (1) year of work experience in recreation. Preference may be given to applicants who have a Bachelor's degree in recreation administration, or closely related field with four (4) years work experience.
Special Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class "D" Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. Must possess and maintain or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within six (6) months from date of hire or promotion.
