The purpose of this position is to operate trucks in the maintenance and/or construction of City facilities, grounds, and infrastructure; to maintain assigned equipment, and to perform other work as required.
Qualifications
Graduation from high school, vocational school, or GED with two (2) years work experience in operations of various types of equipment to include moderately complex heavy-duty, moderately on-road equipment such as dump trucks, vacuum trucks, street sweepers, air brake trucks, garbage trucks, water service trucks, etc.
Special Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class "A" Commercial Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record. May be required to work additional hours, as needed, in order to accomplish assigned work.
