This is a temporary position for Philadelphia/Jersey region. The Operator Specialist's primary responsibilities are to meet or exceed established territory KPIs for the Clemens Food Group. These KPIs include: meeting expected weekly presentations, maintaining active business plan pipeline and achieving volume expectations. Territory is in the Philadelphia-Jersey Region. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES •Earn and maintain certification on all product lines to carry out programs. •Attend sales meetings and use established process to generate, record and follow up on resulting sales leads •Conduct targeted 'ride-withs' with distributor sales representatives to assist in selling CFG product lines to operator base of business and to support training on CFG products •Introduce and train Marketing Associates (MA) on the identified product lines and reinforce that training through visiting their customers (operators) at their facilities/locations •Work with MA's in a supportive and collaborative manner presenting the identified product lines to operator base of business as required. •Conduct product samplings as a part of presentation features and benefits of product line •Provide operator support while utilizing the solution based sales approach of introducing menu ideas, implementing menu-mention programs, supporting MA's, through training, sampling, increasing sales through the operator base of customers and offering solution based proposals. •Provide street based competitive intelligence through documented communication with Account Team Leader. •Execute on assigned one page plan objectives •Monitor maintain current competitive information specifically surrounding the specified product line and communicate with Executive Business Director •Possess and utilize the most up to date sales materials, to include but not limited to: order forms, call reports, updated price lists, and sales surveys. •Organize, attend and execute Clemens Food Group Booth at Food Shows •Meet or exceed established team Key Performance Indicators (KPI). CLEMENS FOOD GROUP (CFG) CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES •Conduct business consistent with CFG direction by adopting the CFG sales process, providing solution based proposals, meet or exceeding growth objectives •Collaborate with Customer Experience Account Managers to provide updates, forecasts and communicate/monitor strategic direction for assigned Operating Companies. •Grow professionally through continuous education: stay up-to-date on innovative products and programs, industry regulations and strive to improve sales performance Requirements POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) is preferred. •Ability to train and educate MA's and operators •Ability to effectively present product and respond to questions from MA's, managers and customers •Positive and optimistic outlook that inspires confidence and trust •Ability to work in a highly organized fashion •Ability to calculate and apply basic math, such as discounts, percentages, portion costs, gross margins •Ability to write reports/ general business correspondence •Must have a valid Driver's License •95% Travel with some overnight trips is required Apply on Company Website |
