Overview:
Since 2002, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, CHAI (formerly the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative), has been assisting developing countries in implementing large-scale, integrated HIV care, treatment, and prevention programs. CHAI is currently active in Africa, the Caribbean, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Our ultimate objectives are to make high-quality HIV/AIDS and malaria care and treatment available to all who need it, and to partner with governments and other stakeholders to strengthen healthcare systems and develop sustainable strategies to overcome obstacles to scale-up.
CHAI is truly a global organization, with roughly 650 staff members living in over 40 countries. The Human Resources department, located within the Boston, MA headquarters office, maintains an efficient communication network with all staff. The unique global nature of CHAI necessitates remote access to critical documents and data and the continuous improvement of existing intranet and data management practices. The HR management team has recently identified the need to improve remote access to data files and generally improve the interface of our data management program. The Volunteer, Systems & Knowledge Management will lead the creation and implementation of a new intranet and content management system for the Human Resources department.
