Club Description
The Hefei Club, located in the new business district of Hefei, will set the standard for private club membership in the years to come. Occupying over 12000 square meters of purpose built space atop the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the club will offer a full range of facilities which will include Chinese and Continental dining, Member’s Bar & Lounge, numerous private rooms, banqueting, tea rooms, luxury apartments, museum, Chinese opera hall, spa, fitness and KTV.

Position Description
This Department Head position requires a responsible team player to handle all accounting matters related to the club. The Financial Controller is responsible for timely preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with the PRC and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. In addition, the Financial Controller assists the Club Manager with weekly forecasting and preparation of the annual budget.
The Financial Controller must be a “hands-on” individual who will manage the club’s full set of accounts. Essentially, there are financial accounting (i.e. Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed Asset and General Ledger) and cost accounting to manage, reconcile and report. S/he is responsible for ensuring integral internal controls are in place to safeguard the assets of the club. S/he is responsible for communicating professionally with Members, which includes resolving problems with their monthly billing, or collection issues. The Financial Controller also facilitates the preparation of the Club’s payroll in conjunction with the Human Resource Manager.
The Financial Controller has a unique dual reporting structure to both the responsible ClubCorp personnel and the Owning Company nominated representative.

Job Requirements :

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related discipline with at least eight years experience in a computerized accounting environment

Minimum five years relevant working experience in either club or company within the hospitality industry.

Proficiency inMicrosoftWord and Excel; Oracle experience is preferred

Integrity, attention to details and strong organizational skills

Diplomacy required in fostering relationships with Members/guests, employees, Owners and the ClubCorp team.

Fully bilingual in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English.

Ability to work flexible hours depending on the demands of the business.

Due to the operating environment, prefer Chinese national or have in country experience and a current working visa for the PRC.
