Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - PRN - Resource Pool
Location: OK-Ponca City (Northern Oklahoma)
The Nursing Assistant shall be responsible for assisting in the care of patients under the direction of an RN or LPN. Demonstrates the ability to do Vital signs and document, assist with total patient care, assists with activities of daily living, able to use PPE properly, able to carry out infection control practices, and has the ability to use proper lifting techniques with proper body mechanics without causing injury to patient, self, or others. Communicates with the RN or LPN on all aspects of patient care.

Education: Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and exhibit proficiency in nursing assistant care and oral communication skills. Must show proof of C.N.A. Certification.

Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as a Nursing Assistant, preferably in the area of application. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards under the supervision of an RN or LPN. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.

Licenses/Certificates: OklahomaCertificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Must maintain and show proof of current certification in BLS. Must maintain any other requirements for each specific department. Must complete required departmental competencies and maintain through annual review.
