Title: Clinic Office Coordinator - Physician Office
Location: OK-Ponca City (Northern Oklahoma)
Responsible for all functions and activities of multi specialty Physician Practice. Develops goals and objectives and monitors results. Ensures department compliance of all applicable laws, policies, and procedures. Develops training and education programs for staff. Primary duty is management of the practice(s). Customarily and regularly directs the work of 20 employees. Has authority to make recommendations as to hiring, firing, promotion or other change of status of other employees.

Must observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired regarding personal, financial, medical or employment of patients, families, and employees of Physician Practice. Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients. Must report hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs.

Organizes and coordinates operations of the physician practice. Provides for departmental needs within the budget allotted. Evaluates performance of staff. Keeps informed of regulatory changes. Approves account adjustments up to $4,999.00. Processes reports for collection accounts. Other duties as assigned by the Practice Administrator.

Education:

Experience:

Thorough knowledge of third party reimbursement, federal and state admissions, billing and payment policies, and legal aspects of collections required. Must have ability to interact with department managers, members of the administrative staff, board of trustees, physicians and staff, employers, vendors, and third party payers. Must be able to design and implement programs, policies, and procedures.Primary Locaiton: OK-Ponca City (Northern Oklahoma)
