Description
Title: HR Transactional Supervisor
Location: TN-Franklin (Nashville Region)
The HR Supervisor
manages the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties
in a high volume transactional environment.

The
human resources functions includes but is
not limited to record administration, license management, employment
verification, pre-employment screening and background checks. This position will evolve to supervising a team
of approximately 8-11 HR specialists.
This position reports to the HR Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be
assigned.

* Assigning, directing, evaluating
work for subordinate specialists in addition to performing HR
transactional work
* Actively involved in selection,
training, coaching of subordinate specialists
* Monitors the accurate maintenance
of employee records including on-boarding data, employment adjustments and
exit data for multi-location entities in a timely manner
* Responsible for ensuring active
license documentation and obtaining proper license documentation when
needed for multi-location entities.
* Tasked with problem analysis and
resolution as it pertains to the areas of job responsibility
* Serves a key contact for facility
personnel
* Participates & leads
job-related training as applicable
* Performs responsibilities that
lead team toward meeting or exceeding performance goals
* Promptly escalate appropriate
issues to manager
* Actively participates in
continuous improvement processes.
* Provide suggestions and/or
recommendations for changes to applicable processes or tools as recognized
from functioning in the role on a daily basis.

Required

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
combination of experience and education.
* Minimum 5 years HRIS
experience; preferably in a shared
service environment
* Minimum 3 years management
experience
* Experience & strong working
knowledge of records management
* Strong communication,
organizational and customer service skills required
* Proven ability to work
successfully in a fast-paced environment while maintaining good
relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
Preferred
* Experience withUltiProHRIS preferred
* Experience in HR function for
multi-state and/or multiple facilities preferred
* Demonstrated proficiency in
Microsoft Office applications preferred
* Experience in a healthcare/hospital
environment
* PHR certification, a plus
* AAP and OFFCP compliance
experience
