Title: Infrastructure Network and Systems Manager - Deaconess Hospital
Location: WA-Spokane

The Infrastructure Network and Systems Manager oversees the area responsible for network management, server administration, cable planning, PBX development, and integration engine platforms, as well as their repair and upgrade of parts of the technical infrastructure. Incumbent will serve as the architect for the technological infrastructure for the entire integrated delivery system (IDS).
The Infrastructure Network and Systems Manager is responsible for planning and directing the activities of the technical staff (including telecom analysts, network analysts and server analysts) such as the development of the PBX system, infrastructure and general maintenance of technical systems. Incumbent is responsible for training new staff members, developing them professionally and evaluating their workperformance. Incumbent is responsible to create the technology management infrastructure for the integrated delivery system (IDS). The Infrastructure Network and Systems Manager is responsible for creating the operational processes for the data center, including PBX, network and server operations. The Infrastructure Network and Systems Manager reports directly to the Regional IT Director.
This position is also unique because the incumbent will need to manage the migration of both hospital and ambulatory systems from other locations into the new data center, as well as, the merger of two distinct networks into one cohesive network. Incumbent will be instrumental in the development of our healthcare information exchange (HIE) for the integrated delivery system.

Education:

College level education, prefers BS in Engineering or Computer Science

Experience:

10 years in managing projects and staff

5 years background in networks and server administration

3 years background in integrated delivery system architecture and deployment.

Must have managed large scale multi-million dollar projects

Background in network architecture, server/ storage architecture and data center build outs preferred.

Licenses/Certificates:

Either MCSE or CCIE or equivalent experience preferred
