Title: MT/MLT Generalist - Full Time - Wkend Doubles + 1 Shift Per Week
Location: OK-Ponca City (Northern Oklahoma)
The Medical Technologist is responsible for overall daily operations and testing in the laboratory, reviews and maintains quality control and preventative maintenance records, reviews and updates procedure manuals, inventories laboratory supplies, and evaluates new tests and procedures.

Receives referred specimens or specimens directly from patients and performs complex qualitative and quantitative analysis. Performs required tests according to established procedures and methodologies. Completes reports for test performed and ensures quality control criteria are met. Documents all quality control and maintains required records to obtain quality testing results. Assists in the evaluation of new or modified techniques when required. Advises and assists in the orientation and training of other personnel on equipment and software as necessary.

Education: Must possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology program and ASCP registry.

* Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least two years experience as a MT or MLT. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
