Title: Patient Care Tech - Cardiac Care

Provides support to the nursing staff in Cardiac Care. Functions in both patient care and administrative roles

Education: Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and exhibit proficiency in patient care and oral communication skills.

Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as a nursing assistance, EMT, monitor tech, or unit secretary, preferably in the area of application. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards under the supervision of an RN. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.

License/certification: Current C.N.A or EMT certification. Must obtain and maintain a current certificate in AHA CPR.
