The Requirements

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager, this role will work with cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, Sales, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain and other areas.

Your role will support the development and execution of the commercial product plans to expand and drive overall electronic lock growth. You'll assist in overall product management support and execution for all electronic lock product brands for all channels including retail, field sales, showrooms, residential security, and consumer electronic customer initiatives.

You'll be involved in all of the activities listed below, although your focus will shift frequently. Your contributions will be integral to the success of the group, and some of the key activities you will be involved in include:

----Assisting in the management of a portfolio of existing products, focused on revenue, profitability and life cycle viability
----Assisting in the development and execution of the new product roadmap to ensure achievement of revenue and profitability goals
----Supporting the development of product, pricing, branding, merchandising and promotion strategies within a team environment
----Supporting portfolio PL performance through value engineering, pricing / mix management, and SKU rationalization
----Acting as a cross-functional lead for various projects
----Assisting in the creation of Marketing Requirements Documents for new and existing products
----Actively participating in customer line review planning for major line reviews and key customers
----Implementing engineering change requests and SKU initiation forms
----Communicating quality and product specifications to sales force
----Participating in Sales, Operations, and Inventory planning to improve forecasting accuracy
----Assisting in the development and execution of strategic market research plans around multiple end customer needs
----Developing and executing product knowledge training
----Compiling Voice of the Customer feedback and translating needs into the business product strategies
----Representing HHI in tradeshows and other industry association events
