DESCRIPTION
Crescendo Apparel is a new contemporary fashion label for women who are blessed with small waists and full hips. The brand, which launched in August 2009, offers pants, skirts, dresses, tops and jackets designed specifically to fit and flatter pear-shaped body types.

This exciting opportunity allows for the intern to work directly in many aspects of the fashion world. While working in the studio, the intern will gain hands-on experience with everything that goes into a fashion label from start to finish. This rare opportunity will not only provide an intern with experience in the fashion industry, but with a start-up/entrepreneurial company as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting with planning and execution of shopping events, trunk and fashion shows
Researching and recommending which interest our target market
Conducting various production related tasks; managing hang tags, production inventory, and studio inventory etc.
Engaging with clients in a professional manner during special events and studio appointments
Assisting with development of promotional campaigns and other marketing activities.
Conducting various administrative tasks (includes filing, data entry, general upkeep, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
A candidate should be a self-starter, motivated and responsible individual whom is able to conduct themselves in a professional manner. We are looking for an individual who is ready and willing to learn the ins and outs of the fashion industry and entrepreneurship. Experience with Microsoft suite is required.

*Canidates with cars will be strongly considered

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Students can choose their availability. This is a part-time position that would ideally be for 2-3 days a week. We are willing to work around students school schedules.

COMPENSATION DETAILS
This internship is an unpaid, academic credit or experience only position.
