**This position will be based out of Casper, WY and will cover the Denver and Montana districts .

Provide engineering support, technical support, and training on automation-related products to both internal and external customers of Crescent Electric Supply Company.

Primary Duties:

• Provide technical support for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), motion controls, safety products, SCADA software, industrial PC's, operator interfaces, networking wireless technologies, sensors and other automation products supplied by Crescent to both internal and external customers.
• Support Microsoft operating systems, Ethernet networking, and applications utilizing VBA, Microsoft certificate or actively pursuing certification.
• Conduct Level 2 customer product and system demonstrations.
• Create and maintain demonstration hardware and software to be used by sales associates.
• Oversee demonstration facilities.
• Provide customer training classes and seminars.
• Demonstrate ability to remain current with product knowledge and application capabilities through continuous education relating to Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Networking, Electrical Engineering, and/or other courses approved by Application Engineering Manager.
• Attain billable service goals.
• Special projects at direction of supervising manager.

• Two year or four year engineering degree or equivalent education with automation
• 2 years related work experience in the automation and controls industry.
• Indepth knowledge of automation products and application
• Communication skills necessary to provide product demonstrations; technical support; understanding of customer issues
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Ability to establish relationships with customers, suppliers and other company employees
• Good project management skills
