JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Engineer to join our busy Workshop team. You will be tasked with carrying our repairs on a wide variety of electro-mechanical equipment.

This positions offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of technology within the transportation sector. With an extensive list of high profile projects you will be exposed to all areas of transportation technologies including the latest innovations in automated fare collection and contactless payments. Continuous variety and guidance from senior members of the team will afford you the opportunity to become a subject matter expert within this sector.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Carrying out equipment repairs

Liaising with relevant departments when issues occur

Documenting all repairs manually and on computer systems

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :

The successful applicant will possess relevant City and Guilds level 2 or equivalent, a good working knowledge of electro-mechanical devices, good previous experience in a workshop/repair role, extensive experience of using hand tools and good basic computer literacy.

In addition, knowledge of ISO9001 and/or advanced computer packages would be highly advantageous
