The position of Food Service Leader is responsible for all food service operations in addition to Customer Service Associate duties. The food service duties include cleanliness, sanitization, maintenance, preparation and stocking levels of coffee, chill zone, and other beverage products, roller grill, sandwich case and prepared sandwich equipment and preparation areas.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
28 hours of Customer Service Associate training. 18 hours training on food service equipment. Successfully complete Food Safety Training per State guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
. Customer service. Assist customers with chill zone, beverage & sandwich purchases while engaging them in conversation using suggestive selling to enhance their purchases.
. Order product & waste the returns for food service area. And complete all required recordkeeping.
. Maintain, clean, sanitize & stock coffee, cappuccino, iced coffee, milk shake, creamer & flavor shot equipment. Insure that cream bags in dispenser are full.
. All physical aspects of store operations related to stocking, cleaning, & maintenance of interior & exterior store areas.
. Maintain, clean & sanitize coffee bar & stock coffee bar supplies as needed.
. Cash register operations.
. Maintain, clean & sanitize chill zone equipment & area & stock supplies as needed.
. Merchandise display & maintenance.
. Clean & maintain stock levels of all products in sandwich case, sandwich warmer, chili & cheese, condiments & pastry case. Check codes & rotate product.
. Shift record keeping.
. Maintain, clean & sanitize ovens, sandwich preparation areas, utensils, roller grill & warming trays.
. Assist Store Manager in training of Customer Service Associates on food service operations.
. Stock roller grill, refrigerated sandwich product draws, labels, sandwich bags, boxes etc for sandwich program.
. Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Store Manager.
. Monitor temperatures & holding times. Check temperatures on food service equipment and complete the temperature control log.
. Compliant with all food safety guidelines and board of health requirements.
