Advisor Analytics-Help grow your skills and our business!! As a Advisor Analytics you will supports our sales and account services team and internal analytical consulting services team by providing consultative analytic and reporting support to commercial health plan clients. Primary job responsibilities include working cross-functionally to develop and run client-specific models and reports in support of PBM products and services, interfacing with internal and external clients to provide insights into trends, and providing ad hoc support to meet client needs. This position is open due to internal movement on the team.

A successful candidate in this position will possess or will acquire and maintain expert knowledge of the healthcare markteplace, PBM industry, CVS Caremark data warehouse(s) and CVS Caremark programs, services and sales goals.

The successful candidate will have a track record of demonstrating skill sets to develop a deep understanding of client’s business and goals in order to best fit our products and services with their strategy. He or she will also demonstrate a high level of consistency in using logic and analytic skills to perform client analyses in response to specific business questions and be able to communicate the findings, including methodology and estimated outcomes.

Acquire and maintain an in-depth understanding of CVS Caremark’s business, products, services, and client needs/opportunities. Potential for high frequency of client facing activities to include presentations, as an individual and/or team, conference calls and written documents for assigned clients and in support of others" Required Qualifications:
4+ years experience in data manipulation and analysis 2+ years experience in a client / customer facing role required Demonstrated experience in using logic and analytic skills to develop solutions for client/customer analysis requests. Ability to analyze large data sets and draw relevant conclusions Collaborate with and influence internal partners to develop analytical models, methodologies, and reports in support of product and service offerings Act as a subject matter expert by interfacing with internal and external customers to share and present information on client-specific and overall trends and the PBM landscape Act as a subject matter expert by transferring knowledge on products, services, data, and analytic support to other Analytic Consultants Respond to client business needs through ad-hoc analysis and reporting Represent department by participating on cross-functional workgroups related to specialty Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze large data sets from data warehouses Utilize forecasting techniques to estimate the impact of benefit design changes Provide insight and information using industry and technical knowledge to elicit client action Creative thinking to develop industry-leading solutions to respond to changing healthcare landscape Communicate complex analytic findings in an easy-to-understand way Appropriate prioritization of client requests to ensure focus on high-impact activities Modify existing tools/models to resolve complex client problems Ability to effectively leverage product knowledge, analytical thinking capabilities, and technical data extraction and manipulation skills to conduct analysis and respond to business questions Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines Effectively leverage team resources to support assigned sales book of business Occasional on-site travel to participate in client meetings Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience or knowledge of pharmaceutical or health care industry is preferred. Managed Medicaid and/or Medicare industry experience also preferred. Experience with Excel / Powerpoint / SAS / SQL required Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to clients. Education:
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree related to finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, epidemiology or other data-related fields preferred. Master’s degree in healthcare related fields or MBA preferred Business Overview:
