oThis position may be located in Woonsocket, RI or Northbrook, IL.
oResponsible for analyses that will to inform key strategic decisions and define growth plans for CVS Caremark’s patient and client programs. The Advisor will evaluate key decisions by projecting expected economic impacts, as well as gather, analyze and interpret data. The Advisor will assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, forecast the impact of program enhancements and evaluate potential new programs. The Advisor will also engage in the communication of results to clients through reporting and ad hoc analyses. The role will involve working both independently and collaboratively (with key stakeholders from across the organization) on several projects simultaneously. The Advisor will be a thought partner for the leaders of the group and will regularly interface with leaders throughout the company. Overall, the Advisor’s work will have a significant impact on strategic decisions and the development of patient and client programs. Required Qualifications:
oStrong analytical aptitude, forecasting skills and problem solving ability. Must be able to break complex problems down into a form that can be addressed with logically sound and analysis. oAbility to identify implications of analyses, determine their impact on strategy and recommend a course of action. oAdvanced skills with spreadsheets, data and presentation software, including a strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Experience with MS Access and other data tools is welcome. oAbility to clearly communicate analytical needs and articulate results. Must be able to identify implications of the analyses and determine their impact on strategy. oAbility to partner with other teams on challenging problems, serving as the primary contact for our team. Must also be able to present to and interact effectively with senior leaders. oAbility to work collaboratively within the team and with other teams to gather inputs, overcome obstacles and share results. oHigh level of independent judgment and initiative; must be able to work independently with limited supervision. oAbility to effectively maintain a view of “big picture” business objectives while simultaneously understanding the detailed workings of complex programs. oAbility to support multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines oAbility to generate reasonable assumptions when hard data is not available oPositive attitude Preferred Qualifications:
