Clinical Licensure Required : N/A Job Type: Full Time Position Summary: This Advisor role is an Environment Management (EM) technical leadership position. The Advisor is an expert in EM tools, services, and in supporting non-production test environments. Functions as a leader on the EM Team. Motivates, guides, leads, mentors and facilitates collaboration among team members. Transfers knowledge to team members through counseling and consultation. Takes the lead in continuously improving the services, processes, and procedures provided by the EM Team. Looks for ways to implement permanent fixes to reduce repeat defects/problems. Works closely with project teams to provide solutions to complex technical or business requirements or Client needs, including technical design, problem resolution, implementation, data refresh, assist with environment build outs, triaging & resolving incidents, and mastering operational issues. Partners with project leader, architect, or manager, as appropriate, to identify technical requirements and alternatives to accomplish project, while providing accurate estimates for project development and implementation. Work with management to meet those estimates. Assist in establishment of and adherence to technical direction, standards, guidelines and methodology for use in specified technologies in own discipline. Play lead role as needed in technically complex phases or projects/initiatives, take accountability for technical quality and workability of solutions. Solve highly technical and complex problems. The EM Advisor provides industry leading technical direction and guidance to the EM Team and works with other IT teams to ensure appropriate and cost effective CVS/Caremark approved technologies. Required Qualifications: Advanced (8+ years) IBM AS/400, CLP, RPG, RPGLE, ILE, SQL, and OS/400 8+ years development experience in application development (SDLC) or technical operations environment including experience leading technical projects. Ability to assess the impact of architecture changes on the business, application relationships and information flow. Experience providing effective solutions based on subject matter expertise. Ability to manage scope and estimate delivery schedules for projects. Excellent research skills, ability to leverage available tools such as subscription services, trade press, Internet or other online resources. Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with business users, other IT groups and team members is required. Experience managing customer requirements or demands. Ability to function as a leader throughout the project lifecycle with the ability to motivate and lead teams. Ability to guide, lead, mentor and facilitate collaboration among team members. Demonstrates initiative in taking on additional responsibilities when needed. Demonstrates ownership and a high work ethic. Demonstrates a sense of urgency in completing tasks and resolving issues in order to deliver a quality project on time and within budget. Strong in generating and maintaining technical documentation for processes, procedures, tools, programs, and environment descriptions. Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of development and/or support of the RxClaim iSeries application. Synon/2 and SDLC experience with CVS Caremark's PBM Adjudication systems Change Management (CM) Experience - Aldon experience Demonstrates expertise in selected software languages, working knowledge within and supporting non-production test environments. Working knowledge of the suite of Environment Management (EM) tools & utilities (for data refreshes and maintaining test environments) Understanding of design considerations for high volume transaction systems and database implementations. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required, one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained.
