Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
This healthcare analytics position provides business analysis, development, implementation and on-going support for analytic solutions supporting the care management program. A successful candidate will develop a solid understanding of Accordant’s programs and healthcare claims information to support processes that are responsive to evolving business and industry needs.
• Provide business analysis and development support for core healthcare analytic solutions
• Support internal and external customers with decision support information derived through healthcare data analysis
• Analyze processes, system performance and outcomes to maintain and improve efficacy of analytic systems
• Monitor changes related to healthcare data and claims submission standards to identify enhancements for analytic systems Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in project and process development and support Advanced technical skills with SQL Server, SAS and MS Office required. MS Visio skills preferred. Previous work experience in healthcare or care management industry required. Proficiency with statistical analysis techniques and methodologies preferred. Proven ability to analyze large data sets and solve problems. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal customers to analyze, develop and deliver solutions. Ability to communicate and present effectively, both verbally and in written business communication. Strong self-learner and ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications:
More than three years experience in supporting healthcare business processes and information analysis preferred. Education:
Degree in information science, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or other data-related fields preferred. Masters in healthcare related fields or MBA preferred. Business Overview:
