Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
Develop and maintain software applications critical to the operations of Caremark by, incorporating peripheral knowledge of other Caremark applications and related technologies in the analysis and design of complex solutions. Proficient in all critical functions for the application(s) assigned, and is expected to champion SDLC methods and best practices on the team to ensure that quality standards are met. Responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned, ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines, including but not limited to: analysis & design documents, program specifications, test plans and results, design, code, testing, debugging, and documentation of those programs while delivering assignments within specified time frames. Required Qualifications:
Have 3 to 5 years experience architecting, designing, and implementing web-based solutions. J2EE architecture in all aspects of development including JSP, EJB, JDBC, JNDI, JMS and JAVA. Experience providing effective solutions based on subject matter expertise. Advanced knowledge in own technological discipline. Experience in leading technical aspects of a project effectively. Thorough understanding of platforms/application or software product used by Caremark, with advanced knowledge of at least one or more. Experience managing customer requirements or demands. Applicable or required certifications. Consulting skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills a must Excellent technical, problem solving, and communications skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Must possess a strong working knowledge of HTML, XML, Javascript, and web services implementation. 3 - 5 years experience with IBM WebSphere preferred. 1+ years experience with database such as DB2, UDB. 1+ years experience using IBM MQSeries messaging products. 1+ years experience in DB2 stored procedures. Demonstrated experience resolving complex business and application problems; performance analysis is a plus. Demonstrated large scale project implementation. Understands development methodology and experienced in creating functional and technical design specifications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education:
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. BS. Computer Science. If no degree, two additional years of experience are required for each year of college not completed. Business Overview:
