Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
This Creative Designer is responsible for developing concepts for print collateral, advertising, in-store signage and online assets for Pharmacy, MinuteClinic, CVS Caremark, Corporate Communications, Multicultural and CVS Store Brands (when needed) business units. Candidate must be efficient with Adobe CS4 Software. Including: Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design and have a solid background in print production. Must have a high aesthetic and understanding of typography and design. Must be well organized and able to communicate ideas with team members. Must be flexible and able to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment, synthesize and accept both positive and negative feedback, set up and meet regularly with account services and manage multiple projects from start to finish. Additional responsibilities include directing in-house photo shoots (if engaged for store brands projects), stock photography selection, logo design, and developing relationships and communications with internal and external business partners. Required Qualifications:
8+ years senior design experience Project management experience Strong leadership skills Superior knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (with particular strength with In Design and Photoshop) Ability to multi-task and respond quickly and positively to changing demands and feedback Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Ability and willingness to work collaboratively Strong interpersonal skills Willingness to work beyond 9-5 when necessary Ability to build partnerships and positive working relationships Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years Retail Design experience preferred Retail Pharmacy experience a plus General Photography and Photo-shoot knowledge preferred Supervisor experience a plus with mentoring Junior Designers Knowledge of best practices for Web design a plus Education:
