Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of loss prevention for a specified market within CVS. Manages, develops, and recruits Region Loss Prevention Managers in the field. Develops loss prevention strategies and objectives, designed to educate, enhance awareness among all levels of employees, with the overall objective of controlling shrink, and protecting the company’s assets.
•Interacts with senior management, internal staff, and external parties to resolve issues, negotiate vendor contracts, develop and implement new practices.
•Develop and maintain an effective partnership with all field operations staff.
•Must possess outstanding Leadership skills.
•Is an highly effective communicator.
•Strong Investigative skills and the ability to provide oversight in all specific market investigations.
•Provides modifications to existing company loss prevention policy, or establishing new loss prevention policy.
•Improve upon the shrink attainment goal in accordance with department budget and objectives through market specific initiatives.
•Develop and implement training programs and initiatives for all levels of field personnel to combat loss prevention issues.
•Must have excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple reporting tools.
•Must possesses superior time management, presentation, and problem solving skills along with excellent administrative skills.
•Analyzes inventory results in order to identify potential trouble stores. Develop initiatives to rectify problems before serious loss.
•Budgets for payroll, resources, expenses and staff requirements for the market area.
•Manage, develop, and evaluate Regional Loss Prevention Managers.
•Is quickly able to identify staff developmental opportunities and strengths.
•Is a resourceful Loss Prevention professional with the ability to develop and maintain partnerships with all internal levels and external Loss Prevention departments. Required Qualifications:
Candidates need to possess the following skills/abilities: BA/BS in Criminal Justice, Business Management or Accounting. 10 yrs. Experience in retail loss prevention management. Excellent communication skills Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge is required. Ability to manage exempt and non-exempt employees. Preferred Qualifications:
Retail Pharmacy Loss Prevention experience is preferred. Education:
BA/BS in Criminal Justice, Business Management or Accounting or equivalent years of related working experience. Business Overview:
