Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
This position is responsible for Mail Order accounts receivables by ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement of patient copayments. The Sr AR Finance Assistant will support and carry out all duties as required for the daily operation of the Collection Department as assigned by the Collection Manager, which includes primarily inbound and outbound member calls for accounts 61-120 days past due. This also includes, but is not limited to processing member payments utilizing several different operating systems, submit/process invoices and billing statements, extensive research of credit and debit balances and research of payment disputes. This position also prepares collection letters in accordance with department policy and maintains bad debt at a percentage level outlined by targeted goals. Required Qualifications:
Two years or more of Customer Service experience in a call center environment. Strong verbal communication and research skills. Ability to identify and solve member account questions. Good organization skills with a Customer Service focus. Preferred Qualifications:
Accounts Receivable and/or Collection experience strongly desired. Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Post High School or specialized training in Accounting desired. Business Overview:
