Clinical Licensure Required : N/A Job Type: Full Time Position Summary: Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet business needs. Assists in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. Identifies business, operational and technical tasks, scope, time constraints and task interdependencies. Responsible for end-to-end ownership of projects and project planning activities in area of expertise. Reviews test plans and results. Assists with the resolution of test incidents. Reports on project status and impact analysis on an ongoing basis. Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business area to resolve problems on an ongoing business. Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Functions as a Lead Business Analyst on large projects. May have responsibility for a team of Business Analysts, and is responsible for providing guidance, direction, feedback and coaching to ensure team effectiveness. Light travel may be necessary - no more than 1-2 weeks a quarter Required Qualifications: 6+ years of relevant IT Experience 2+ years experience working with project management methodologies and tools 1+ years experience preparing and delivering organized and understandable presentations to medium or large groups Preferred Qualifications: Ability to produce concise, clear, and complete business requirements The ability to learn key Caremark vertical/business area application(s)utimately acting as and recognized as Subject Matter Expert (SME) Able to serve as a liaison between the business community and the Data Warehouse organization in order to provide solutions to meet user needs Act and recognized as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in core BA competencies Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new and existing business projects. May provide guidance with the development of test plans as well as assist the business with development of user acceptance criteria Report out project status and impact analysis on an ongoing basis.
