Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
Supervises the various Product Selection functions related to prescription drug orders for patients.
Ensures that production goals and quality components of work are achieved.

Oversees cross-training and timely movement of staff within Filling, Packing and Shipping departments as well as other areas within the pharmacy to ensure prescription orders are processed in a timely manner. Develops, trains, prioritizes/sets direction, monitors, and addresses workflow issues as appropriate to ensure efficient flow of work and achievement of individual and team objectives with regards to production and quality. Required Qualifications:
Solid understanding of Operations Management functions and practices. Proven ability to oversee people and process to achieve objectives. Ability to build strong business relationships with other functional areas to best support mutual objectives. Analysis and problem-solving skills to ensure proper operation of equipment and processes; sound decision-making skills which satisfy “bigger picture”. Interpersonal, conflict management, and negotiation skills are also required, as well as strong human relations skills to supervise and develop assigned employees effectively. Proficient computer skills with Windows environment knowledge required; other functionally-related software knowledge preferred. Knowledge of pharmacy terminology desired. Able to work overtime or extended hours as necessary, as well as the ability and willingness to perform any/all of the duties supervised. 6 years of related work experience required Preferred Qualifications:
Pharmacy Tech Certification Education:
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. College degree and/or coursework strongly preferred. Business Overview:
