Dawson Media Group (DMG) is a film and video production company in Portland, OR that creates high quality mission-based media including private and public artworks, non-profit messaging, documentary production, and educational multimedia for museums, schools and other venues. Our focus and experience is in working with educational institutions, government agencies and other non-profits, and we do not produce projects that promote violence, sell consumer products, or devalue human lives, morals or ethics.

The ideal Production Intern candidate is someone who has:

Up-to-date production experience (in the past three years)
Experience with non-linear editing programs (Final Cut Pro)
Experience operating video equipment
A minimum of 16hrs/week availability
Reliable transportation
Acute attention to detail

Production Interns are responsible for a wide range of duties, from pre to post production (and everything in between). The job isnt always glamorous, so the right fit for this internship is someone with a positive attitude who can tackle anything thrown his or her way.
