Job Description:
Provide full spectrum Acquisition Lifecycle Logistics support for USAF Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs within the Global Hawk Division, Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Directorate, Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Essential Job Functions:
Apply logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy.

Address Product Support Elements: 1) sustaining/system engineering, 2) design interface, 3) supply support, 4) maintenance planning and management, 5) support equipment/automatic test systems (SE/ATS), 6) facilities, 7) packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T), 8) technical data management/technical orders, 9) manpower and personnel, 10) training, 11) computer resources, and 12) protection of critical program information and anti-tamper provisions.

Work on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; AIS hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Product Support/Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Cost (RAM-C) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, Product Support/RAM-C analysis and assessments in supportability planning.

Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.
Develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

Engage with customers, the program’s prime contractor, other AFMC centers and program offices, USN, SAF/OSD, NSA, and other organizations as required; apply an understanding of the GH weapon system for analysis and assessment of the quality of the prime contractor’s plans and work products in the areas of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) logistics and sustainment processes; assist with the resolution of sustainment and deployment issues; participate in FMS case reviews, PMRs, technical interchange meetings, etc.; assist with customer requirements relative to international freight forwarders; assist in logistics support of the program, sub-system, and/or line item; assist in evaluating changes proposed for mitigating impacts of DMS; track and monitor spares and support equipment and items returned for repair, as well as identifying solutions to correct support deficiencies; participate in USG, customer, contractor, and other GH users’ joint obsolescence reviews; assist with analyzing logistics trade-offs within cost, schedule, and/or support limitations; assist with assessing contractors’ logistics efforts; support preparation of standard reports needed to monitor case execution status; assist with assessing GFE/PSE plans, cost projections, schedules; review the program’s prime contractor deliverables; assist in interface with NSA, ALCs, and joint program offices; support monitoring status of all crypto equipment; assist in development, generation, and management of LOAs, statements of work and PWSs; attend initial government-provided training on the DSAMS and SAMRS information systems; use MS Office Tools to prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentations; assist in writing and developing contract SOW documents and CDRLs in support of the GH weapons system FMS case.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Associates degree in a relevant area of study and ten (10) years of Lifecycle Logistics (LCL) experience.

An active Secret clearance and the ability to maintain US Secret and NATO Secret clearances.

The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Passport.

Experience with USAF Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.

Extensive US and International travel.

Support experience is required.

Desired:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study and eight (8) years of Logistics is desired.

Experience with AFMC Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs for manned and unmanned aircraft.
