Description

Provide radar mode technical expertise for performance assessment of the APG-79 radar. Fulfill responsibilities throughout the product life cycle, with an emphasis on verification and validation during flight test.

Essential Job Functions:

Review requirements documents

Maintain an in-depth understanding of radar mode functionality in order to identify problems

Develop test plans

Test new software functionality

Perform laboratory and ground tests in preparation for flight

Attend flight briefs and observe flights real-time

Review test videos and data, and write reports

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math or Physics plus eight years of experience

Well organized

Good communications skills

Desired Skills:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Radar program experience

Work experience in a test environment
