The Training Specialist will serve as a primary platform instructor and training content developer for the Integrated Bridge (IB) System. The IB integrates systems within Army MRAP and M-ATV vehicles and displays them onto a touch screen computer for use by the Truck Commander (TC).

Essential Job Functions:

The Training Specialist will become part of the training development and delivery team in producing content for lessons on the IB to present to soldiers who will operate fielded IB Systems primarily in M-ATV vehicles.

Provide New Equipment Training (NET) to soldiers.

Assist in the development of training products.

Become a subject matter expert on the IB System, especially in the areas of maintenance and troubleshooting.

Interface directly with military personnel (Army soldiers) and other agency personnel involved in system fielding related to the IB.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

High school diploma/GED plus thirteen years of relevant work experience.

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance (classified material handling not required for position).

Military active duty experience as an instructor (schoolhouse preferred).

Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and support for military systems (such as ground vehicles, communications equipment, computer operating systems).

Prepare, document, and deliver written or oral presentations in support of projects.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with software such as PowerPoint, Excel Spreadsheets, and Word processing.

Some experience as a photographer and for using Photoshop or Illustrator or other software to develop imagery for presentations.

Familiarity with military Systems Approach to Training, writing formal lesson plans, producing examinations (check on learning materials), and conducting hands-on practical exercises.

Experience as a maintainer and specialist in military hardware systems such as electronics, communications, and computer data processing and display systems.

Ability to read and interpret “one-wire” schematic diagrams of how equipment is connected together for power and data processing purposes.
