Deft Magazine is an online publication that focuses on hip-hop and politics. Founded in 2005, Deft Magazine provides a platform for writers to speak passionately about music, current events, politics, and social issues. We love to feature the work of a variety of artists in the hip-hop genre, including underground favorites, up-and-comers, and artists from overseas. A volunteer writer for Deft would be able to gain a significant number of clips while writing about what interests them. Writers are welcome to telecommute.
