Demers is looking for an individual interested in a career in event planning and/or public relations to serve as an intern to our Venue Coordinator in assisting with the planning, promoting, and organizing of special events and corporate meeting.
The intern will also be working with our Event Sales Account Executive in growing company revenues through prospecting and probing leads in the corporate, government, association and non-profit sectors.
Demers Banquet Hall is a full-service event and meeting management company. We specialize in special events which include weddings, award banquets, corporate holiday parties, and much more.
Our main goal is to expand the role of the special events venue through offering monthly open houses and daily client tours to wedding and special event planners, businesses, civic groups, and others.
Another opportunity for growth being pursued is offering Demers catering and party supplies for events occurring outside of the banquet hall.
