JOB DESCRIPTION

As the QA-Release-Support Manager of the Business Intelligence organization at StubHub, you will manage a team of individuals responsible for assurance of quality across all BI & Data related projects. You will be accountable for the release of bi-weekly projects and support the business stakeholders by maintaining reports / dashboards and scheduling their refreshes and dissemination. You and your team will resolve production related issues reported by stakeholders within SLA and provide a report on the status periodically. You will be responsible for automation of tests and daily quality checks to ensure data shared is accurate and timely. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing and BI reporting teams to test, release plan and support BI related products. The right candidate will have experience in managing quality in the BI & Data domain and be intimately familiar with software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies. Will help develop and implement a cohesive quality strategy, scheduling of quality related tasks, reporting test status and metrics and where needed hands on testing and problem solving. This position requires excellent communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The QA / Release / Support Manager will perform the following tasks:

* Hiring, coaching and mentoring the team
* Develop and manage test frameworks and test plans
* Manage system-integration and User acceptance tests
* Making decisions in day-to-day operations, proactively raising issues with other managers when necessary
* Establish rigorous performance guidelines and processes for identifying / troubleshooting problem areas
* Identifying process, technology challenges and deficiencies that need to be addressed and drive those changes to successful adoption
* Identifying project risks and be able to provide alternatives for reducing risk
* Help define, gather and communicate metrics
